While we were in San Francisco, we took the boat out to Alcatraz. I didn't find the island all that interesting,
I mean, a jail cell, is a jail cell, is a jail cell. However, while I was out wandering in the exercise yards I was
able to get some really cool pictures of the inside of the bay. I had wanted to scan in all the pictures I took and
make a 180 degree panoramic merge, however my camera proved not to be up to the task. These two are the best of the
batch I took.
The day after visiting Alcatraz, we headed out of the city to explore Wine Country. We also stopped by Muir Woods -
one of the places you can find red wood trees.
