I decided to save the best for last.
I think these three pictures were by far the
best ones I took during the hiking trip.
They’re all from the top of the look-out point
facing west to the coast. You can really see the
low costal clouds sweeping in during the late
afternoon.
One of the popular things for tourists to do
while in LA is to hope to see some of their favorite stars.
While many tourists end up buying maps to
the stars, I had the inside scoop with all my LA contacts.
Amy and Holly work in one of the studios so
they see a lot of famous people very day.
As it turns out the best place to catch a glimpse of famous (at least
during a holiday weekend) is shopping.
I didn’t see anyone during our trip to the grocery store, but I did end
up walking past everyone's favorite Noxzema girl,
Rebecca Gayheart
shopping with a woman who Holly claims was her mother at American Outfitters.
On our trip out to the coast (on our way to the mountains) Amy pointed out
one of the Goo Goo Dolls driving a Toyota 4Runner.
