These two pictures were taken from a not-so interesting part of the
trail. We got lost out in the desert on this trail after making
a wrong turn at a water tower. I decided to snap a couple of photos
on the chance we didn't actually make it to the end of the trail.
For some reason, almost every girl I met in LA
was named either Jen or Amy.
I met three or four Jens, and two or three Amys.
However, I’m sure some of the Jens actually went by Jenn,
and Holly’s roommate uses the slightly cooler spelling Aimee,
just like the recently uber-popular
Aimee Mann
of
Magnolia
fame.
Speaking of Magnolia, Holly actually lives right near Magnolia Street.
As it turns out most of the movie was filmed on or around this
particular street – which is a large seemingly secondary drag of LA.
It might be reasonable to assume that that’s where the name of the movie came from.
All I know is, watch out for the frogs.
